BRYDIE MANGOS

Repleat is a collection that reflects boldness and difference, encouraging the viewer to be confident in what they wear and express themselves through dress. Initially inspired by my Mum as my muse, repleat embodies the ideas of self confidence and the reflection of identity through the way people present themselves. As a conceptual collection, repleat experiments with various techniques around colour and fullness, including ruffles, frills, pleats, gathers and flare, attempting to push the boundaries of social normality to make room for difference.
